CPR Training

You will learn the skills of CPR for victims of all ages and will practice CPR in a team setting. You will learn how to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED) and how to relieve choking (foreign body airway obstruction). The skills that you will learn will enable you to recognize emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest and how to respond to them.

This one day course results in certification through the American Heart Association

Skills you learn

  • Initiating the Chain of survival
  • Performing prompt high quality chest compressions for adult, child and infant victims
  • Early AED use
  • Providing appropriate rescue breathing
  • 2 person CPR team
  • Relieve choking (FBAO)
